Camila Morrone stunned in a spectacular custom Carolina Herrera light pink corset pleated gown at the Academy Awards in Los Angeles on February 9th. The custom dress inspired by the Spring 2020 Collection Bridal gown, Louise, was designed by Creative Director Wes Gordon. The actress, who is set to appear in the Amazon series “Daisy Jones and the Six,” along with her stylist opted for a custom version after completely falling in love with a dress she saw from the Carolina Herrera Bridal Collection.
Wes Gordon, with the assistance of his design team, took less than a week to recreate the Oscar gown of Morrone’s dreams. Much of the silhouette of the dress stayed the same, with Morrone delighting in blush pink.
