On the eve of the British Fashion Awards, London’s most stylish set flocked to Neptune restaurant for a festive December feast. The occasion? Moda Operandi celebrated an American in London, our very own creative director Wes Gordon.
Hot off the heels of releasing his Pre-Fall 2019 collection for the House, Gordon hopped on the plane and was ready to toast Moda Operandi’s Lauren Santo Domingo and Hayley Bloomingdale after an afternoon jaunt to the Hayward Gallery and Tate Modern in Southbank. Moda Operandi’s co-founder, Lauren Santo Domingo, previewed a tiger-print dress from the Pre-Fall 2019 collection while other guests (including style icon Alexa Chung, model Amelia Windsor, and Vogue editor Princess Elizabeth Thurn und Taxis) wore their Herrera best, including looks from the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 collections. Guests mingled over cocktails before tucking into a jolly exchange of White Elephant Christmas gifts where guests donned masks of all sorts of birds and England’s very own Queen Elizabeth II.
