Katy Perry wears Carolina Herrera while performing in Washington D.C.
Katy Perry wore the Carolina Herrera New York Spring 2020 strapless tulle gown with a striking platinum blonde bob at filmmaker David Lynch’s Silence the Violence Benefit Concert. Designed by creative director Wes Gordon, the Spring 2020 collection was inspired by the botanical phenomenon of the California super bloom. Sculpted and tailored to resemble beautiful shapes found in nature, the strapless tulle gown boasted oversized flocked polka dots, a nod to a beloved House code. Styled by Samantha Burkhart, Perry finished her look with a pearl hatband and complementing earrings.
Perry performed alongside other artists like Norah Jones and Mavis Staples in Washington D.C. to help bring meditation programs to 10,000 people in the D.C. area. Onstage, she certainly embraced the spotlight—and quite literally stole the show—with buoyant polka-dots on a voluminous skirt, tied together with a sweet bow at the waist.
