Actress and style icon Tracee Ellis Ross was in full bloom last night as she interviewed former First Lady Michelle Obama at the sold-out Forum in Inglewood, California.
Wearing the taxicab yellow floral camp shirt and palazzo pants from the Spring 2019 runway collection by creative director Wes Gordon, Ross greeted the stage with a high kick before introducing the former First Lady, in California promoting her new book, Becoming. Friends since first meeting in 2011, Ross and Obama laughed and discussed timely topics before their beaming crowd. The mood was happy, energetic, and full of love.
Inspired by Mrs. Herrera in the 1970s, the Spring 2019 collection marks a new Era of Herrera: looser silhouettes, bold prints, and happy color combinations.
